In September 2025, Renault announced a price cut of up to ₹ 96,395 on its popular models (Kwid, Kiger, Triber), passing on the full benefit of the GST 2.0 rate cut.

According to Renault India’s official website:

• Kwid ex-showroom starts from ~₹ 4.29 lakh
• Kiger starts from ~₹ 5.76 lakh (new GST price) 
• Triber also starts from ~₹ 5.76 lakh (ex-showroom) under the revised pricing.

Older references: Triber’s ex-showroom range (before these cuts) was ₹ 6.29L – ₹ 9.16L.

CNG variants: Renault offers CNG kits for Kwid, Kiger, and Triber. For example, the CNG kit for Kwid costs ~₹ 75,000, and for Kiger / Triber it's ~₹ 79,500. 

On-road price: This depends heavily on the city (registration, road tax, insurance), but the ex-showroom gives a base to work from. For example, in Mumbai, the on-road price of the facelifted Triber ranges between ~₹ 7.27 lakh to ~₹ 10.58 lakh (depending on variant).

Infotainment: Many Renault models (from mid to higher trims) come with an 8-inch touchscreen, with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. 

Seating & space:

• Triber is especially versatile — it's a modular 5/7 seater. In 5-seat configuration, the boot can accommodate up to ~625 liters, giving it surprising utility for family use.
• Seating comfort is decent, with enough headroom and legroom for its kinds of buyers.

AC Performance: Renault generally provides good air-conditioning performance, even in warmer Indian climates, which enhances comfort for both city commutes and longer drives.

Other comfort touches: Power-fold ORVMs, internal storage, decent cabin ergonomics — Renault balances cost and comfort well.

Renault Engine and Performance

• Renault offers both naturally aspirated (NA) and turbocharged 1.0-litre petrol engines in its range (especially in Kiger). The turbo engine provides a sharper drive and better torque.

• The turbo-manual or CVT versions of Kiger are quite popular for buyers who want a mix of performance and comfort.

• The multi-sense drive modes (Eco, Normal, Sport) in some Kiger variants let drivers choose between fuel efficiency and performance.

• On highways, Renault’s lightweight design and decent power delivery mean the car remains stable, though it's not a hardcore performance vehicle — it's optimized for value.

• Service interval: Typically, Renault recommends regular maintenance at periodic intervals (check owner's manual), and there are good dealership / service center networks in major cities.

• Spare parts cost: Parts are reasonably priced, particularly because Renault localizes many components.
