Volvo XC40 Latest Updates : Volvo has stopped selling the petrol/mild‑hybrid XC40 in India and is now focusing on the electric variant (XC40 Recharge / EX40) as its compact SUV offering in the country. This aligns with Volvo’s broader push toward electrification.Volvo has introduced a new single‑motor XC40 Recharge in India priced at ₹54.95 lakh (ex‑showroom).   This variant offers a claimed range of ~475 km (WLTP) and 238 hp + 420 Nm output, with 0‑100 km/h in ~7.3 s — combining performance with sustainability.Globally and in India, the electric XC40 has been rebranded as the Volvo EX40 to align with Volvo’s EV naming system (EX30/EX90, etc.).   The EX40 retains the same powertrain and range as the XC40 Recharge but brings updated features, battery specs, and a slightly higher price (around ₹56.10 lakh ex‑showroom). Volvo continues to roll out software updates for the XC40 / EX40, addressing infotainment improvements, bug fixes, camera views, and connectivity features via over‑the‑air (OTA) or dealership updates.   Recent update releases (~2025) include enhancements to parking view cameras, tyre pressure monitoring, adaptive high‑beam stability and remote parking/lock features.
