Toyota Hilux Latest Updates : Toyota has just launched the all-new ninth-generation Hilux globally, marking one of the biggest updates in its long history. The new model was officially revealed in late 2025 and showcases a stronger, more modern design with a bold front end, slimmer LED lighting, and a more rugged yet refined appearance compared to the outgoing generation. This redesign aims to improve capability and visual appeal while maintaining the pickup’s well-known toughness.    A major highlight of the 2026 Hilux is its expanded range of powertrains. For the first time ever, Toyota is offering a battery-electric (BEV) Hilux with a 59.2 kWh battery, dual e-axles and permanent AWD. This electric version delivers around a 240–300 km range (WLTP) and retains strong payload and towing capacities, while preserving body-on-frame strength and off-road capability. Alongside the BEV, Toyota continues to offer traditional engines – including a 2.8-litre diesel paired with a 48 V mild-hybrid system – as well as 2.7 L petrol in select markets. Toyota has also confirmed that a hydrogen fuel-cell Hilux will arrive by 2028, further broadening its powertrain lineup.

Durability: The Hilux is known for its robust construction and ability to withstand tough conditions. It's often favored by drivers in regions with challenging terrain or harsh climates. Off-Road Capability: The Hilux is designed to handle off-road driving with ease. Its high ground clearance, sturdy suspension, and four-wheel-drive system make it suitable for navigating rough terrain. Variants: The Hilux comes in various configurations to suit different needs, including single cab, extra cab, and double cab options. It's available with different bed lengths and trim levels, allowing buyers to customize it according to their p
