Nissan Leaf Latest Updates : Nissan announced on February 25, 2026, that the entry-level Leaf S (the most affordable trim with a 52 kWh battery) has been delayed indefinitely for the U.S. and Canadian markets.: While the 2026 Leaf has been spotted testing on Indian roads, there are currently no confirmed plans for an official launch in the Indian market. 

The 2026 Nissan Leaf is a compact, front-wheel-drive electric hatchback/crossover offering up to 300+ miles of range in its top S+ trim, with a 214-horsepower motor and 261 lb-ft of torque. It features 150 kW DC fast charging (10-90% in ~40 mins), ProPILOT Park autonomous parking, and ePedal one-pedal driving. The Nissan Leaf is a 100% electric, zero-emissions vehicle that has transitioned from its original hatchback roots to a more aerodynamic, crossover-inspired SUV for its latest 2026 generation.
